The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, C+
Genres:Suspense/Horror, Thriller, Remake and Sequel
MPAA Rating:R for strong horror violence/gore, language and some sexual content.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, directed by Jonathan Liebesman who directed "Darkness falls" in 2003. This movie is produced by the hollywood best action director, Michael bay who produced "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" in 2003, and others. This movie once produced in 1974 and 1986 and now Michael Bay produced this movie again in 2003 and 2006. This movie content alot of bloody scenes, of course is the reason to make this movie perfect. The Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski) is this movie is more brutal than the first one. The direction and the visual effects of this movie is nice than the first one. The acting is almost perfect.
The story line in this movie is nice but quite similar with the first one. After wathing this movie, my mind floated one question, Why some charaters talking or telling us stuff that we are already know?? For example, one character ask another, "Are You OK?" when the person under questioning is plainly knee deep in a bear trap? Besides that, the first movie in 2003 presented itself as a true story(Yeap it is a true story, but he is not using chainsaw but gun to kill people), but this movie is not presented as a true story.
