Iron Man
Iron Man, directed by Jon Favreau who brought you "Zathura" in 2005 and starring by psychotic Robert Downey Jr. as iron man. The movie starts by introducing the Tony Stark have a trip to Afghanistan to demonstrate his new weapon which named "Jericho Missile" (It is a very cool missile), and his convoy is attacked by and he is kidnapped by the terrorist group named Ten Rings. Then the movie reverse to few hour or day ago (I forgot already). When I first time see the movie trailer, I thought why they choose Robert Downey Jr. to be an Iron man, it totally miscast. After I watched this movie then I realize I was wrong. His acting in this movie is nice, and he is fit in this movie. He did his characteristic well in this movie and there is no other choice to be an Iron Man except him. Besides that, he brought a very deep sense of humor to this film. Other than acting, the visual effects in this movie is quite nice especially the part where he wear the iron man suits, this movie maybe will be another Academy Awards nomination for visual effects. The visual effects is done by Industrial Light and Magic which also use in "Transformers". The action sequences is quite nice, especially the sky chasing part and there is a few fighting scene between Iron Man and Iron Monger which is nice but not intense, that part will give an audience a little bit dissapointment. The plot in this movie is going very well and smooth, so when you see this movie you will find it very comfortable. There is also a small plot twist in this movie. There is also some part of this movie are quite unlogic. There is one part where the tank shoot the Iron Man when he was flying, and the warhead hit the Iron Man. That part is like "Woow!! Damn accurate!!" Anyway, this movie is a great comic adaptation and it gives a great energy to the audience. This movie is very entertaining and very funny. Two thumbs up!!
Trivia: In Rotten Tomatoes review aggregator, 93% of critics gave the movie positive reviews. (OMG!!)
